Snappy Caps developed in a corner of our basement in Lincoln, Nebraska based on my affinity for sewing and the other cycling business working out of our basement. My husband, Skip, and his friend, Sam Rosenau are the founders of War Axe Bicycles, still in its early stages, is a custom frame building company.

Anyway, I love to sew and am pretty darn good at it. I started making some cycling caps and got a lot of great feedback and decided to make it into a business. I focus on unique fabric combinations. My fabric sources vary from fabric I have had for years, recycled thrift store finds or fabric I find and think would be cool.

In the future, Snappy Caps will expand its offerings to bags, and possibly other items.
